4-H at Southeast Kentucky Fair

The Southeast Kentucky Fair proudly showcases the incredible work of local 4-H members. Through hands-on learning and community involvement, 4-H helps young people grow into confident, capable leaders—and our fair is the perfect place to celebrate their achievements.

What is 4-H?

4-H is a youth development program that empowers young individuals through agriculture, science, and community-based projects. Members gain valuable life skills while working on projects they are passionate about.

4-H Exhibits & Activities

At the Southeast Kentucky Fair, 4-H participants can present their projects and compete in a variety of categories, including:

  • Livestock shows (cattle, goats, poultry, and more)
  • Gardening and crop exhibits
  • Arts, crafts, and home projects
  • Educational displays and demonstrations

Each exhibit reflects the dedication, creativity, and hard work of our 4-H youth.
